Sarkes Mkrdichian Jr (born June 17, 1986) is an Armenian professional golfer.

Mkrdichian was born in Chicago, and is of Armenian-American descent. Mkrdichian is the first Armenian professional golf player to within the following tours PGA, WEB.COM, Adams Golf Tour, DreamChasers, Gateway Tour. His latest PGA Qualifier 2017 at the Barracuda Championship where he missed the cut by 1. 

Mkrdichian spent much of the 2016-17 season out of golf after Wrist Injury. Mkrdichian next event is scheduled at Farmers Insurance Open Jan 2018.


Early life

Mkrdichian was born in Park Ridge, Illinois parents both of Armenian descent (Father: Sarkes Hamazas Mkrdichian Sr. And Mother: Shenorig Mkrdichian). Mkrdichian played his first round of golf at the age of 9 (right handed). He played junior golf thought the Illinois Junior Golf Association, and High School Golf at Maine West High School where Mkrdichian won the  bull dog invite and many more tournaments. Mkrdichian's college career was cut short due to relocation to Phoenix, Arizona and attending ASU. He later gave up his amateur status to play on professional tours.

Mkrdichian has sponsorship with Adidas and Taylormade Mkrdichian signed a deal with BPI Sports in which he would use their performance products from protein and aminos and more. Currently, in May 2017, it was announced that Mkrdichian has changes club companies to Mizuno Corporation and a apparel deal with TaylorMade-Adidas. Mkrdichian is also a Sklz Athlete. Mkrdichian others sponsors include SCSNS Sports (1st & 10th tee bars and recently added Jaybird wireless headphones to his list of sponsors.
